Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation

She co-founded the Augustinian Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation.

For some years, the Augustinian Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation have dreamed about opening a home for street children in Manila.

St. Monica Academy is a school under the congregation of the Augustinian Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation.

Presently, the Augustinian Recollect Sisters of our Lady of Consolation, have one convent in Topeka, Kansas.

Hence, the Augustinian Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation decided to extend their educational efforts through the construction of a school in Biñan in 1984.

It is one of the Catholic schools administered by the Augustinian Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation (ASOLC).

Following her solemn profession as a nun she assumed the name of "Maria Rosa" and also established the religious congregation known as the Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation.

She cofounded the Augustinian Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation along with her sister, the Spanish nun Servant of God Madre Rita Barcelo y Pages.

Mother Rita [Ines] Barcelo y Pages was the Superior Foundress of the Augustinian Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation and sister of the Ven.

Mth, Bishop of Broken Bay, New South Wales and Sr Ma Luz, Superior General of the Augustinian Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation.

La Consolacion College Tanauan (formerly Our Lady of Fatima Academy, 1948), run by the Augustinian Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation, is the first Catholic school in the city.

Associated orders such as the St John of God Brothers (arrived Australia 1947 and established mental health services) and the Filipino Augustinian Sisters of our Lady of Consolation also established an Australian house in the 1990s.
