Fraser made his studies at the University of Edinburgh and took his Ph.D. in 1862.

In 1897 he took his Ph.D. at Harvard.

He won fellowships at the University of Pennsylvania where he took his Ph.D. in 1908.

After some time travelling around the state, he enrolled at the University of Kansas and took his Ph.D. in 1960.

He then went on to take his Ph.D. in Neurobiology at the University of Calgary.

He took his Ph.D. at Harvard University in 1939.

He took his Ph.D. in history at Columbia University.

He took his Ph.D. in zoology at the University of Cambridge in 1989.

Following graduation he began postgraduate research, taking his Ph.D. in 1942.

He took his Ph.D. from the same university in 1930.
