The following species have been recorded, but not accepted as wild:

Some 75 species of birds flock to this coast, with nearly 1.6 million birds recorded on the coast.

Here they filmed many behaviours seldom seen before and species never before recorded on the Great Barrier Reef.

There are additional sections giving brief accounts of (a) vagrants and (b) introduced breeding species and species recorded only as escapes.

Like most birds, they have bird lice and the species recorded include Heleonomus laveryi and Esthiopterum indicum.

Lake Kundi includes the protomonad Rhipidodendron huxleyi, a faunal species previously not recorded in Africa.

Of the 490 fish species recorded 13 are endemic and 60% are tropical.

So now we know not only the species but can record the ladybird parasite, too.

More than 150 floral species have recorded from the park.

Other species have also recorded uses in herbalism and folk medicine; dedicated research is largely lacking however.
