Thompson saw technology as a dimension in understanding the actions of complex organization.

"I've never seen technology quite like this before," he murmured.

I don't think I've ever seen so much technology in one place.

We see technology as a means to support learning in all subjects, not just computer skills.

In the future, however, hotels see technology playing a larger role.

"Students in high school do not see engineering and technology as viable careers," he said.

Many high school students see science and technology as too difficult.

Computer makers in particular see such technology as the most promising new growth area during the 1990's.

"I would like to see American technology leading the world," he said.

In order to be effective, learning institutions must see computers and associated technology as an essential part of the student.
