Nebraska announced on January 9, 2013 that the school will add women's sand volleyball as the school's 24th intercollegiate sport.

The park has two playgrounds, two half-basketball courts, sand volleyball, and a large playing field for field sports.

Women's sports include lacrosse, sand volleyball, softball, and volleyball.

Football and women's sand volleyball were added during the 2010-2011 school year.
