A student has made education history by becoming the first in the country to pass a new exam.

The new exams will now only begin in July 2011.

A schedule for a new exam is expected to be announced.

Because the state developed all new exams it had warned that results would not be available until late summer.

The new exam was designed to measure skills needed in standard college course work.

"However, we expect that any time you switch to a new exam."

The new exam is a far cry from the old.

It plans to begin using the new exam in 2006.

By 2001, students will confront tough new exams in order to graduate.

Sample papers were not released until early 2006, the year when the new exam would be sat for the first time.
