When at port, international exchange events were carried out with local NGOs and student groups.

The center provides, to more than 300 local registered NGOs, the following services:

Seventy government officials also received training on the commercial sexual exploitation of children from a local NGO.

They then began to work with local Nigerian NGOs to help to support these children and to campaign for their rights.
