Myoglobin released into the blood results in dark urine.

A patient may notice dark urine from the hemolytic anemia.

They include fatigue, sore muscles, abdominal pain, and sometimes dark urine.

The condition can lead to swelling of the legs, high blood pressure and dark urine from bleeding.

Symptoms are back pain, vomiting, fever, and dark or bloody urine.

May be macroscopic and lead to dark brown or smoky urine.

However, dark brown urine can also be a sign of rare side effects (liver problems or anemia).

Other symptoms include dark urine, lethargy, loss of appetite, increase in drinking.

The first symptoms include dark urine and a yellow colour to the whites of the eyes.

Tell your doctor immediately if any of these rare but very serious side effects occurs: dark urine, yellowing eyes or skin.
