A special coupling box is mounted on the inside of the glass directly under the antenna foot.

When the chain was pulled, the lever raised the pin out of the coupling box and locked it into place.

If the antenna assembly needs to be transferred to another vehicle, the coupling box and the mounting foot can be removed without trace.

This gearbox is manufactured by Brevini in Italy, with a coupling box made by PTG.
