This is the start of what is now called Slab City.

For a time this place was known as "Slab City".

The community was known to locals as "Slab City."

Once known as Slab City, it has been home to several factories.

It has about 10-20 residents and was formerly known as "Slab City."

And these days, Slab City has plenty of it.

The dozen or so children in Slab City get picked up by the school bus.

The unincorporated community of Slab City is located within the town.

Slab City has hilly terrain all the way though town.

Slab City was founded as a small settlement by immigrants in the 19th century.
