Logan Circle has experienced remarkable growth since the mid-20th century, with a 2010 population of almost 8,000 people.

In the 1990s, revitalization of Adams Morgan and later Logan Circle began.

The tradition of jumping into the fountain at Logan Circle started in the 1970s and continues every year on the last day of the school year.

In response, the roadway has been narrowed somewhat and the sidewalks expanded around Logan Circle.
