The Garde Arts Center is embarking upon what it calls "a fresh and exciting direction," with two new three-event series in New London.

In 1985, it was sold to the newly formed, nonprofit Garde Arts Center for $300,000, reopening three years later as a performing arts center.

The show is part of the Garde Arts Center's Celebrity Series.

Curtain time is 8 P.M. at the Garde Arts Center (444-7373).

They will appear at the Garde Arts Center.

Steve Sigel, managing director of the Garde Arts Center, considers arts programming as a multitasking approach.
