On 29 August 1799, Chinnery was created a Baronet, of Flintfield, in the County of Cork.

By far the largest concentrations came from the Irish Counties of Clare, Cork, Mayo and Wexford.

The latter year he was raised to the Irish peerage as Baron Riversdale, of Rathcormack in the County of Cork.

Earl of Carbery, in the County of Cork, was a title in the Peerage of Ireland.

He was created a baronet on 22 March 1813, of Fermoy in the County of Cork, for the great public services rendered to Ireland by his father.

At least six different septs used this name, primarily in the Counties of Cork and Dublin.

He was made Baron Charleville, in the County of Cork, at the same time, also in the Peerage of Ireland.

In July 1838 he was created a baronet, of Mallow in the County of Cork.

On 24 August 1778, he was created a baronet, of Anne Mount, in the County of Cork.
