Nowadays, I never ever feed tubifex to my fish.

All fish love eating tubifex and will gorge themselves silly on the worm.

If tubifex is fed, proper precautions should be taken.

Feed them on brine shrimp, tubifex and later on shredded fish.

At 1" long they seem to relish larger live food and the odd treat of live tubifex goes down well.

By eating a single tubifex worm, a trout can be infected by thousands of spores.

Tubifex can carry a rang of pathogenic bacteria which are a source of fish diseases.

Freeze dried Tubifex may be preferable, as the risk of introduction of disease is eliminated.

A type of worm known as the tubifex worm is quite abundant as well.

Feeding consists of flake, freeze dried tubifex, bloodworm and whiteworm.

Most aquatic outlets try to supply clean, well washed tubifex by maintaining their supply in running tap water.

They prefer live foods, such as Bloodworms, Tubifex, fish and Earthworms.

For the smaller specimen, they should first be fed on live tubifex and bloodworm (which has been washed in Myxazin or similar).

Tubifex is the worm that most fishkeepers are familiar with because they are sold at many tropical fish outlets.

They will eat flakes, pellets, frozen brine shrimp, and freeze-dried tubifex worms.

Horseface loaches are not picky eaters, but live food (such as tubifex) is relished.

Weather loaches are omnivorous and may also feed on tubifex worms and other small aquatic organisms.

They eat Tubifex, Daphnia, and mosquito larvae.

Flake is often refused and live foods such as Tubifex, Mosquito larvae, small earthworms, are needed to tempt them.

Many live in eutrophic waters of generally poor quality and feed on tubifex worms and similar benthos associated with such habitat.

Many of the fish may eat only live food, including tubifex, fish, brine shrimp, mosquitolarvae, bloodworms, mussels etc.

They eat micro crustaceans and small Tubifex worms, occasionally supplementing their diet with filamentous algae.
