Treatment of stage 0 is usually surgery (total or subtotal gastrectomy).

Surgery (total or subtotal gastrectomy) followed by chemoradiation therapy.

Both patients underwent subtotal gastrectomy without complications.

Subtotal gastrectomy, with post-operative chemotherapy is undertaken in refractory cases, or in the setting of complications, including gastric outlet obstruction.

Subtotal gastrectomy: Removal of the part of the stomach that contains cancer, nearby lymph nodes, and parts of other tissues and organs near the tumor.
