Grass plants need a soil pH that is somewhere between 6 and 6.5.
Optimum soil pH is between 5 and 7, however it can grow within a range of 4.5 to 7.5.
The key is to find out where your soil pH is.
To grow grasses properly, the soil pH should be between 6 and 7.
Most plants will be healthy if the soil pH is right and nutrients are available.
Note that this is not the only reason for a high soil pH.
When the soil pH is not within this range, problems can occur.
