There is a second watercourse, Lockram Brook, which runs northeast through the parish.

The Lockram Brook flows through the middle of the parish and there is much woodland in the area, including Starvale Woods, Wokefield Common and Holden Firs.

Burghfield Brook then continues to the Northeast, past Culverlands Farm and merges with the Lockram Brook at St.James Farm in Grazeley Green.

The Lockram Brook flows through the middle of the parish and joins into Burghfield Brook further to the Northeast, this in turn feeds into Foudry Brook, a tributary of the Kennet and Avon Canal.
