locking fastener

A positive locking fastener, such as hooks and dees or zippers, used for the front closure of the garment.

Current carrying parts are high conductivity electrolytic grade copper with plating, locking fasteners, and torque wrench assembly to assure permanent low resistance connections.

Such machines, often called Junkers machines in the literature - after it's inventor, have been used over the last twenty years by the major automotive and aerospace manufacturers to assess the performance of proprietary self locking fasteners.
