Audiences can finally catch Lin's explosive car deplanement on Memorial Day weekend with the release of "Fast & Furious 6."

Air Canada indicates that it is conceivable that the panel was not turned to facilitate stretcher movement within the cabin for Mr. Smith's deplanement.

However, there is no question that Ms. Watson's deplanement and refused transportation were related to MyTravel's oxygen policies and it would appear that the flight crew was uncertain of the carrier's policies.

Air Nova is therefore required to reimburse Mrs. Frost expenses incurred by her as a direct result of the undue obstacle caused by her deplanement, such as the cost of the long distance telephone calls made by Mrs. Frost or on her behalf.

Although the Agency does not find it necessary to make a determination of exactly what happened to Ms. Watson during the deplanement, the Agency does accept that, regardless of the specifics, the fact that she was deplaned at the very last minute and not permitted to travel was upsetting to her.

Paragraph 12(2)(b) of the Act provides that the transportation must include an emplanement by the person on an aircraft at an airport in Canada on a specific flight having as a destination an airport outside Canada and subsequent deplanement by the person from the flight at an airport outside Canada.

As to expenses incurred following Mrs. Frost's deplanement by Air Nova, the Agency may, pursuant to subsection 63.3(3) of the National Transportation Act, 1987, order the reimbursement of expenses incurred by a passenger with a disability as a result of the undue obstacle created by the carrier.

While Ms. Watson has described circumstances surrounding her deplanement that she found to be very inappropriate, undignified and upsetting to her, the parties involved in her deplanement deny her allegations and no incident report was prepared immediately after the deplanement to clarify the matter.
