The Livewire featured yellow inserts in the body side mouldings and bumpers, air conditioning, and a tachometer.

The EK was a minor facelift of the superseded FB series, with obvious changes limited to a new grille and body side mouldings.

The 10th Anniversary RX-7 features a Crystal White monochromatic paint scheme with matching white body side mouldings, taillight housings, mirrors and 16-inch alloy 7-spoke wheels.

It came standard with 14" satin-chrome alloy wheels, sports cloth interior trim, red insert strips in the body side mouldings and bumpers, black tailgate and beaver panel garnishes, semi-bucket seats with adjustable seat height, back and lumbar support, auto fade interior lamps, and all other Ghia appointings.
