Minister of Health and Social Welfare

Hussein Ali Mwinyi (born 23 December 1966) is a Tanzanian politician serving as the Minister of Health and Social Welfare.

Željko Reiner (born 28 May 1953) is a Croatian physician, politician, and former Minister of Health and Social Welfare.

Much later, as Minister of Health and Social Welfare from 1946 to 1957, he laid the groundwork for a national health-care program, old-age pensions and and disability allowances.

He won the 1987 election on FLP ticket and was the Minister of Health and Social Welfare on the month long Bavadra Government.

When Hebrang resigned from both his posts as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Social Welfare in February 2005, he was replaced by Damir Polančec (as Deputy Prime Minister) and Neven Ljubičić (who took over his portfolio).
