"I AM" Activity

Describes The I AM Activity, The Bridge to Freedom and The Summit Lighthouse.

Through the Ballards as "Messengers", the Ascended Masters were believed to have regularly communicated with the students of "The I AM Activity."

In about 1956 Mark Prophet came in contact with The Bridge to Freedom, an offshoot of the I AM Activity led by Geraldine Innocente.

Within "The I AM Activity" (founded by Guy Warren Ballard in the early 1930s), contact and cooperation with the Ascended Masters became a central part of each member's life.

The concept of twin flames had been included in the teachings of the "I AM Activity," but the idea of attempting to find one's twin flame had been dismissed by them as a distraction to one's main goal of accomplishing the ascension.

These encompass original Theosophical literature, as well as later additions and interpretations by various non-Theosophical commentators and groups - such as the I AM Activity, and Elizabeth Clare Prophet (1939-2009); however, the validity of this later commentary has been disputed by Theosophical writers.

During the 1920s, Spalding was a personal acquaintance of Guy Ballard, founder of the I AM activity, and similar themes to Spalding can be seen in Ascended Master groups such as the Church Universal and Triumphant and the writings of Elizabeth Clare Prophet.

The teachings of the Aquarian Church (ACCU) are based primarily on the Aquarian Gospel, but also on other writings by Levi Dowling, and share many teachings with the I Am Activity (I Am Movement) and Ascended Master Teachings.
