This was done on sixteen samples of the lake bed.

They met on the flat lake bed where the festival was being held.

Much of the ancient lake bed is now northern Ohio.

This particular city was built upon a large lake bed.

The rocks are not alive, of course, but they still travel across the lake bed.

The lake bed remains but it is no longer maintained as an airport.

However, on a dry lake bed an aircraft may actually land in any direction.

Other times of the year, the lake bed is exposed.

Might have been using part of a dry lake bed.

In late 2012 it became notable for the fact the dry lake bed had caught on fire.
