Lake Volta

Lake Volta (the world's largest artificial lake) extends through eastern Ghana.

It is in the north-east of the region, and is adjacent to Lake Volta.

Lake Volta is the largest reservoir by surface area in the world, and the fourth largest one by water volume.

Given good management, Lake Volta is the location of a vast population of fish and large fisheries.

It is in the east of the region, and is situated by Lake Volta.

Hohoe is between Lake Volta and the border of Togo.

This development created Lake Volta, the largest man-made lake in the world.

From there, oil is to be transported across Lake Volta to northern regions.

The park is the only wildlife territory in Ghana to have Lake Volta at its borders.

It is near the north eastern arm of Lake Volta and the Togo border.
