Aug. 14, 2002: Parish RetreatBetween November 1-3 the next Parish Retreat will take place at the monastery at Oka between Ottawa and Montreal.

It is a large conference center, hosting Diocese events and activities including language immersion classes, lay ministry preparation, adult continuing education, seminarian instruction, parish retreats and also hosts community civic conferences.

About 20 parishioners went to Llangasty House, near Brecon for a Parish Retreat which, I have been told was very reflective yet gave another opportunity for people to share thoughts and ideas in this most beautiful setting.
